Sam has more than thirty years experience in the supply chain and logistics industry. He has a background in consulting, designing and implementing supply chain & inventory solutions across a wide range of industries.
Sam is a co-founder of InteLog, Integrated Logistics Services Pty Ltd and is a director of Liquid Liners Pty Ltd and John Martins Logistics Solutions Pty Ltd. He is also a board member of a number of private companies in the logistics, agricultural and health care industries and has been a director of Hema Maps Pty Ltd since 2008 (Chairman since 2013).
Sam has a Bachelor of Business (Transport Economics) from RMIT, is a member of the Logistics Association of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
As the Chief Executive Officer, Rob is responsible for delivering the business strategy and overseeing core operating functions of the business (including development and partnerships).
Prior to setting up Adventures, Rob was the General Manager of the Adventures division of Bauer Media. In his four years with Bauer, Rob worked within the group to develop start up initiatives (Turu.com.au) plus develop integrated commercial and content solutions across print and digital properties.
Before joining Bauer, Robert worked in a number of senior roles within the sports & wagering sectors, most recently with Agility Interactive (a subsidiary of the government owned, Tote Tasmania).
As the Head of Operations/ Chief Financial Officer of the Adventures group, Matt is responsible for the operation and corporate services aspects of the business.
Prior to setting up the Adventures Group, Matt was the Chief Financial Officer at the Port of Melbourne where a significant part of his role was involved in privatising the Port of Melbourne Corporation for the Victorian Government. Prior to Matt’s seven and a half years at the Port of Melbourne he worked in a number of senior finance positions in Australia and the UK, including with BP, Boral and Waterstones.
Matt has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
